FAQ

1. How do I register for the event?
  1. Select a distance on the website;
  2. Click the “Register” button;
  3. Enter your login and password to access your personal account if you’ve previously participated in our events;
  4. Click “Login.”

Note: If this is your first time participating, click “Sign Up” before entering your login details, and fill out the registration form. After successful registration, you will receive an email with your login and password for your personal account.

2. How do I make a payment?

According to the “Run Ukraine 2025 Rules,” registration fees must be paid electronically via the organizer’s website.

Payments are processed through the Liqpay.ua interbank electronic billing and payment system, using a secure and modern payment card authorization mechanism. Card details are entered on the Liqpay.ua website in a protected mode and are not accessible to staff.

3. When does registration close?

Participants may take part in the event only if properly and timely registered.

Registration is available online only at the organizer’s website: https://crossfest.runukraine.org/

Online registration is open until May 2, 2025 (subject to slot availability).

The organizer reserves the right to suspend or close registration without prior notice once the participant limit is reached.

A participant is considered registered once the application is completed and the entry fee is paid.

Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to: inability to participate, failure to complete the distance, exceeding the time limit, disqualification, or event cancellation due to unforeseen consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic or force majeure.

Registrations will be canceled if incorrect or false data is provided during the registration process. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Paid registrations cannot be canceled. Entry fees are non-refundable.

4. What is the event format?

The charity event “Crossfest. Spring 2025” will be held in both offline and online formats.

5. Where and when will the offline event take place?

Date: May 4, 2025

Start and finish location: 8 General Rodimtsev Street – Holosiivskyi National Nature Park, Kyiv

6. What distances are available?

Offline format distances:

  • 5 km cross-country run
  • 10 km cross-country run
  • Cycling. Cross-country XCO. Open – 15 km
  • Cycling. Cross-country XCO. Sport – 25 km
  • Duathlon (5 km run + 20 km bike + 2.5 km run)
  • Duathlon Relay
  • Dog run – 1 km
  • Dog run – 5 km

Online format distances:

  • Cross run. Open distance with medal
  • Cross run. Open distance without medal
  • Cross-country cycling. Open distance with medal
  • Cross-country cycling. Open distance without medal
7. Will I receive a medal?

All offline finishers will receive a physical iron medal at the finish line.

Participants who purchase the “Cross Run. Open Distance with Medal” and/or “Cross-Country (Cycling). Open Distance with Medal” packages will receive a physical iron medal within 4 weeks after the event. Delivery by Nova Poshta within Ukraine is included in the registration fee. International delivery is paid separately.

8. Are there any discounts for running clubs?

Yes, this event is included in Run Ukraine’s loyalty program for running clubs.

9. Are there any discounts for military personnel?

Free registration is available for military personnel for all event distances. A total of 50 free slots are available.

Once the free slots are filled, a 30% discount off the base registration fee will apply.

30% discount applies to:

  • Combatants and war veterans
  • Armed Forces of Ukraine and Territorial Defense servicemen

Note: Charity contributions from discounted registrations will not be allocated to the OPFOR battalion support fund.

10. Can I use cashback from my Run Ukraine account when registering?

Yes, you can use cashback to pay up to 25% of the registration fee.

11. Will I get a refund if I paid but can't participate?

No. Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

12. How can I use my postponed registration from 2020 or 2022 events?

If you have a postponed registration from the 2020 or 2022 Run Ukraine Running League events, you may use it during the 2024 season. Available options:

  • Receive a similar registration for any 2024 event (e.g., Unbroken Ten Kyiv, Unbroken Half Marathon Kyiv, Lviv Unbroken Half Marathon, Kyiv Unbroken Marathon, Crossfest. Spring 2024) for the same or shorter distance
  • For Unbroken series events, registration must be claimed no later than 5 weeks before race day
  • For Crossfest. Spring 2024, registration must be claimed no later than 2 weeks before race day
  • Transfer the value of your registration or additional purchases to cashback, usable as a discount for 2024–2025 (up to 25% of any future order)
  • Transfer registration to a similar event and distance that takes place after martial law ends
  • Convert the registration fee into a donation to support wounded Ukrainian soldiers at the Unbroken rehabilitation center

13. Where does the registration money go?

The charity event “Crossfest. Spring 2025” aims to motivate amateur athletes to stay active and to raise funds. 50% of the race profit will be donated to support the 214th Separate Assault Battalion OPFOR.

The 214th Separate Assault Battalion OPFOR is a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center in Yavoriv. The battalion plays the role of a mock enemy during training missions and is the only unit of its kind in Ukraine. Since the full-scale invasion, it has fought in the Battle for Kyiv and has been active in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions since August 2022.
